Chuck Poole, an ordained minister, is a laid back ventriloquist who has a passion not only to perform but to teach as well. He uses ventriloquism to entertain and to make a point. Chuck is one of the few persons around that has actually taken a ventriloquist dummy inside prison walls and used it for teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Chuck is, at present, a fulltime student of theology and Christian counseling and is attending two Christian colleges simultaneously. Chuck is currently under the mentorship of senior pastor Dan Bierworth at Journey Christian Center and teaches and preaches at the local jail here in Spring Hill Florida.
After many years of technical jobs Chuck was called to the ministry in 2003. "My passion is preaching and teaching, I can't imagine doing anything else." Chuck received Christ as his savior back in the late seventies. "It took me 25 years to hear the call. There was just too much Egypt in me."
Chuck has been a musician (guitarist) for many years and has even owned his own recording studio. Now, in his limited spare time he enjoys building, repairing and modifying puppets. He does, however, composes and records his own performance sound tracks.
Chuck lives in Spring Hill Florida with his wife Joan. They've been married for almost ten years. Joan is also very involved in the ministry at JCC. They make a great team.
